The Checklist

1. Sluggish Performance: Apps open slowly, system lags.
2. High Fan Speed: Fan spins loudly even when doing nothing (Crypto-miner).
3. Pop-up Ads: Ads appear on your desktop, not just browser.
4. Browser Changes: Homepage changed, new unwanted extensions.
5. Disabled Antivirus: You can't turn your defender back on.
6. Crashing/BSOD: Random Blue Screens of Death.
7. Unknown Programs: Suspicious icons in the taskbar.
8. High Network Usage: Slow internet due to background data upload.
9. Battery Drain: Laptop battery dies much faster.
10. Files Disappearing: Issues accessing certain folders.

What to do?

If you see 2 or more of these signs:

1. Disconnect from WiFi.
2. Run a Full Scan with DEFENDED.
3. Change your passwords (from a different device).
